I’m often asked “where should I start” on an Alkaline Plant Based diet program?

I’ve been doing this program since 2001. I’ve learned a lot of things along the way. Let me give you my opinion. Hopefully this will help and keep you from being overwhelmed 🙂

The first thing to understand is that this program is a “lifestyle” and not a diet. In other words, it’s something you do every day, 365 days per year. That’s not to say you can’t miss a few days here and there, but once you become “aware”, you will always find yourself getting right back on the program.

How do you become aware? By reading many of the books on the market about a Plant Based Diet/Alkaline Diet. You can find many of these books on Amazon.

From a supplementation point of view, here are my opinions and what I suggest you do (this is not a medical opinion):

1) Start drinking greens – Terra Power Greens

Incorporating a greens powder into your daily regimen is a BIG part of this program. Start with the Terra Power Greens. This greens powder provides you with a HIGH concentration of chlorophyll which will help build healthy cells. If you want to get a greens powder at a Health Food Store or Walmart, that’s ok but not preferred. If you do that my suggestion would be to look at the ingredients list. Ensure there are NO fillers, binders, preservatives or sweeteners. You cannot go wrong with the Terra Power Greens. I call it the “Mercedes Benz of Greens Powders”!

2) Start drinking pH Balanced water – Terra pH Booster Drops

You can make your own water with an Alkaline Water Machine
OR
You can use the Terra pH Booster Drops to increase the pH of any water you put it in. You need to start structuring the water that you drink.

3) Get good mineral salts into your daily regimen – Terra Alkaline 4Salts

Salts help maintain the alkaline integrity of the internal fluids that surround all of body cells, tissues & organs. They are also great for the digestive tract and are loaded with magnesium.

4) Start taking a bowel cleanser – Terra Colon Max

Safely and effectively cleanse the small and large intestine. Terra Colon Max is rich in oxygen, magnesium & other powerful ingredients. Keeping your digestive tract clean is one of the most important things you can do.

So, to sum up, these 4 products round out what I call “Foundation” products. Foundation meaning you take these every day. It’s like the foundation of a house, ONLY this is your “House of Health”.

Here they are again:

2) pH drop – Terra pH Booster Drops
3) Mineral Salts – Terra Alkaline 4Salts
4) Bowel Cleanser – Terra Colon Max

Also Consider incorporating these additional products into your daily regimen:

– Terra Mineral Clay
– Liquid Chlorophyll (without preservatives & sugars)
– Oils: Hemp, Borage, Primrose, flax, avocado – 3x per day forever

Terra Mineral Clay is a montmorillonite clay that helps keep the digestive tract clean. It can be mixed in with your greens, eaten or used topically.

Liquid Chlorophyll (we should have one soon) is a VERY HIGH concentration of chlorophyll. The more chlorophyll in your daily regimen, the better.

Oils: Hemp, Borage, Primrose, flax, avocado – These oils supply essential fatty acids which buffer acidity and provide energy while supporting normal brain function.

Let’s look at this from a Good, Better, Best & Ultimate point of view:

GOOD:
– Greens powder

BETTER:
– Greens powder
– pH drops

BEST:
– Greens powder
– pH drops
– Mineral Salts
– Oils
– Bowel cleanser

ULTIMATE:
– Greens powder
– pH drops
– Mineral Salts
– Oils
– Bowel cleanser
– Clay
– Liquid Chlorophyll

Let me tell you what I do daily. When it comes to this Plant Based Lifestyle. I “walk the talk”:

– I take the 7 products listed in the “Ultimate” section above. I usually get 3-4 liters of structured water in per day. Some days more, some days less.
– In some of my greens drink I also like to mix in some Chlorophyll or salts. I don’t do this with every liter I make.
– I get good oils in every day, 3-4x. Oils: Hemp, Borage, Primrose, flax, avocado
– 1-2x per day I mix the Terra Mineral Clay in my green drink
– I take Terra Colon Max 4-5x per week.
– I do an alkaline plant based cleanse 2x per year and take products associated with the cleanse during this time.

I hope this outline helps you create an Alkaline Plant Based Lifestyle program for yourself. Every person is different and will create a program that is right for them.

I can sum up this Alkaline Plant Based Lifestyle Program with the following eight focus areas that can help everyone:

– More water
– More structured alkaline water (alkaline water mixed with greens powder)
– More alkaline fruits & vegetables
– More exercise
– More good oils
Cleanse at least once per year
– Adequate sleep
– Continuing education & more awareness by reading books on the Plant Based & Alkaline Diet.
