It’s a great place to start if you want to learn more about the alkaline diet. Some of these recipes are alkaline and some are slightly alkaline. The books that I recommend also have some great recipes too.
The Alkaline diet is one of the most revolutionary diets to catch on recently in the health community; the eating principles of the diet (vegetarian and organic foods) are not new, but the addition of the “pH factor” adds something new to the nutritional mix. The acid/alkaline balance of our bodies is something that many never consider, although the concepts have been part of Chinese medicine for thousands of years. The Alkaline diet may seem odd initially, but once you learn more about the concepts and benefits you’ll be impressed and motivated to try this form of dieting.
