I’ve always been interested in juicing. Well lucky for me, yesterday a new member was introduced to juicing household appliance family; a juicer. As always, as a lifelong we have been researching and experimenting with juicing, idea would share a bit about juicing journey so far and share a few of juicing secrets and juicing tips.
One of the best juicing tips I have ever received was to use apples as a base for your recipes. Yes, you can use all sorts of fruits, but an apple is just perfect for juicing and you can find them at almost any grocery store. All you have to do is peel the apple and use it as a thickener. Then just spoon the fruit into your recipe and enjoy.
A fresh juice extractor is another great juicing tips I have learned. You can usually find one in any produce section or home center. The extractor works like a juicer only you don’t need to use the juice pulp to make the drink. Simply squeeze the juice extractor and pour it into whatever container you desire.
If you want to add more fruits and vegetables to your juicing recipes, a strainer will come in handy. A strainer is used to remove various items from fruit and vegetables. Its purpose is to retain the nutrient properties that juicing soars off. Some examples of things you might put a strainer on are; leafy greens, carrots, and cucumbers. This will retain more nutrients.
For a healthy snack, a blender will do double duty. Not only will it mince your fruits, but you can put it into your juicer for pure pulp or you can blend it with your veggies. Blenders come in all shapes and sizes and range in price from about $20 to well over a hundred dollars. The higher the price range, the better the blenders are.
So there you have it, just a few quick juicing tips that will allow you to enjoy freshly made juices on demand. If you follow the juicing rules, you should be able to make juices on demand with very little effort. Making juices at home gives you the choice of putting fresh vegetables and fruits into your mouth versus having them shoved down your throat by some giant food processor. The best part is that you can do this all week, not just for one night. So give your juicing skills a boost with these fresh juice recipes. You will soon be making some really tasty drinks that won’t cost you an arm and a leg.
