The Alkaline diet is one of the most revolutionary diets to catch on recently in the health community; the eating principles of the diet (vegetarian and organic foods) are not new, but the addition of the “pH factor” adds something new to the nutritional mix. The acid/alkaline balance of our bodies is something that many never consider, although the concepts have been part of Chinese medicine for thousands of years.
