It’s That Time of Year – Traveler’s Acidic Consequence & Holiday Season Influenza
Here are two non-contagious lifestyle and dietary conditions (called diseases by allopathic medicine) for which myself and my research associates have given new names:
1) Traveler’s Acidic Consequence is a result of the sum total consumption and behaviors of a traveler during their more unusual or somewhat different from normal lifestyle than when they were not traveling. A typical traveler’s day will upset one’s normal metabolism and digestive habits. They eat and drink different foods at different times and different volumes than usual, which creates an over-acid state and a need for more alkaline buffers (bicarbonates) leading to indigestion, constipation, dehydration and further problems of acidity, depending on the degree of irregularity.
Traveler’s Acidic Consequence is commonly blamed by allopathic medical science on a particular site on the traveler’s path as if he caught something. This current medical ideology is based on Pasteur’s germ theory and is a scientific illusion. The true cause of this condition is the result of the traveler’s acidic dietary choices and the lack of alkaline hydration, nutrition and hygiene that can result in this over-acidic condition.
2) Holiday Season Influenza (The Flu) is a result of the sum total consumption and behaviors of a person during so-called holiday acidic feasting. They will consume: acidic foods and drinks that they know are not healthy or alkalizing, i.e., more sugar or sugar substitutes than normal, alcohol, meats and much of this at greater volumes than normal. They become detrimentally influenced physically and emotionally by holiday acidic foods.
Holiday Season Influenza is commonly blamed on a particular virus contracted from another person(s) and not from acidic lifestyle and dietary choices of that person. Like the acidic traveler, a person chooses to consume on their own as many acidic foods and drinks during the holiday season and as a result are suffering from the consequences of their poor dietary choices — not from some phantom flu virus! The flu is nothing more than the body increasing temperature to improve circulation to remove excess acidity through perspiration, respiration and urination.
Also, please keep in mind it doesn’t take either traveling or holidays for someone to express the symptoms of Traveler’s Acidic Consequence and/or Holiday Season Influenza. All you need to do is consume excessive amounts of acidic meats, chocolate, ice cream, cake, alcohol or other thrillers. This can happen in the middle of a warm summer.
This coming New Year may you resolve not to succumb to the acidic choices that lead to Traveler’s Acidic Consequence and/or Holiday Season Influenza.

p.s. – Let me tell you how I’m personally using Pure Energy and how I fit it into my daily regimen. When I wake up I immediately drink one 12 oz water with Pure Energy. I make sure before I go to bed at night that I prepare the drink so it’s ready for me to consume in the morning. When I’m done I make another Pure Energy drink that I will drink later in the day (remember it takes 2 hours for the drink to be ready). Then I drink @ 1 1/2 liters of pH Miracle Greens with PurpHy pH Drops for the rest of the morning into the afternoon. I make sure I eat something alkaline for lunch. Then in late afternoon I’ll drink the next 12 oz water with Pure Energy. For the rest of the afternoon/evening I’ll drink water and/or water w/pH Miracle Greens & PuripHy. I try to stay alkaline for dinner but sometimes I cheat. At a high level this is what I do. I do take a few other pH Miracle supplements but I think you can get a feel for what I do. I hope this helps! Ken
I just finished a 30 day cleanse. I actually went 21 days on the puree/soup part, then the next 9 days eating salads & veggies.
I highly recommend cleansing. Whether is’t a 3-day, 7-day, 14-day, 21-day or 30-day cleanse, you can’t give your body a better gift.
Let’s see, we take our cars in for oil changes every 3-6K miles. Why wouldn’t it be any different for our bodies? We have to take a break every now and then and give our bodies some time to heal

Your Energy Bank
According to Dr. Robert O Young our bodies are 70% fluids and to maintain optimal health these fluids should be at 7.365 pH. This is no different than our body temperature which should remain at 98.6 in order to feel our best.
The next time you buy a bottle of Evian water notice the label reads “Naturally pH Balanced at 7.2”. Our swimming pool testers indicate 7.4 pH is an ideal water condition as well.
So what is it that affects our pH? Obviously, it is the foods we eat and our stressful lifestyle. We can see this visually on a pH scale.
This pH scale is a standard measurement system we may have learned (but probably forgot) in High School. It is a ladder scale beginning at zero through fourteen. Zero is equivalent to carbonic acid (the most acidic element) and 14 is bicarbonate (an alkalizing agent) and 7.0 is neutral. So basically, everything to the left of 7 is acidic and everything to the right of 7 is alkaline. 7.0 is the value of distilled water.
Again, referring to Dr. Young’s Biology, our body fluids should be in a range close to 7.365 or slightly alkaline. Everything has a pH value and can be measured. Every food you eat or drink your consume can be measured on the pH scale. Let’s call this our Energy Bank. This is just like a bank account where we deposit and withdraw our money. The foods we eat withdraw (acid) or deposit (alkaline) energy.
To see the full impact of these foods we need to understand that our pH scale is to the Power of 10. In other words, 7.0 is neutral (distilled water) therefore, 6.0 is 10 times more acidic than distilled water, 5.0 is 100 times, 4.0 is 1000 times, and 3.0 is 10,000 times more acidic than distilled water.
So if you look at some of the foods we eat, coffee w/cream and sugar at 4.0 on the pH scale, is 1,000 more acidic than distilled water. This would mean that coffee is a major energy withdrawal. Soft drinks with values of 3.0 are 10,000 times more acidic than distilled water. Can you see why you feel “Sick & Tired” when you eat acidic foods? You are withdrawing from your energy bank and your body is struggling to maintain 7.365 as your are draining energy. IT IS SIMPLE ARITHMETIC.
Now, let’s look at the deposit side of the pH scale, those foods that are considered alkaline. The pH value of broccoli, spinach and all other green/yellow veggies is at 7.5-8.0 on the pH scale, or deposits into your energy bank.
When you understand the pH factors of foods, you are in CONTROL and can choose correct nutrition for balance.
We also understand that people have very busy life styles and very few of us start the day with a bowl of spinach, except of course “Popeye the sailor man.”
pH Miracle products were developed to help alkalize the body and energize the cells. One such product is pH Miracle Greens which consists of 40+ different grasses, leaves and vegetables combined by Dr. Young to make a major deposit in your energy bank.
It’s like healthy “fast food”. Drink 2-3 quarts/liters of pH Miracle Greens a day and this will help equalize & balance your system.
You can be in control of how you feel and how much energy you have. Now is the time to take charge.

Australians eating too much junk food, report finds
Australians eat three times more junk food than the recommended daily intake, according to a new report.
Australians were consuming junk food every day rather than as an indulgence, said the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) report.
The study of 40,000 Australians found, on average, people consumed the equivalent of 32kg of chocolate a year.
Australia scored 61 out of 100 in the CSIRO’s Healthy Diet Score Survey.
“The scores were fairly unflattering across all respondents,” said CSIRO research director Prof Manny Noakes.
New Diabetes Cases, at Long Last, Begin to Fall in the United States
The rate of new cases from 2008 to 2014 declined by about one-fifth, a possible indication that Americans are getting a little healthier.
After decades of relentless rise, the number of new cases of diabetes in the United States has finally started to decline.
The rate of new cases fell by about a fifth from 2008 to 2014, according to researchers at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the first sustained decline since the disease started to explode in this country about 25 years ago.
The drop has been gradual and for a number of years was not big enough to be statistically meaningful. But new data for 2014 released on Tuesday serves as a robust confirmation that the decline is real, officials said. There were 1.4 million new cases of diabetes in 2014, down from 1.7 million in 2008.
Red meat linked to increased stroke risk
Red meat – but not other types of protein – is linked to an increased stroke risk, and the odds go up the more meat people eat, a recent study suggests.
Researchers analyzed data on about 11,000 middle-aged people who didn’t have other risk factors for strokes such as diabetes or heart disease, and followed half of them for around 23 years.
The people in the study who consumed the most red meat had a 47 percent higher risk of ischemic stroke – caused by blockages in blood vessels supplying the brain – than those who typically ate the smallest amount of red meat. Protein from poultry, seafood or vegetable sources like nuts and legumes wasn’t associated with any added risk.
Weight Loss May Spare Knee Cartilage, Study Finds
Losing a large amount of weight slows the loss of knee cartilage in obese people, a new study shows.
Obesity is a major risk factor for knee osteoarthritis, a degenerative joint disease that often leads to joint replacement surgery.
The new study included just over 500 overweight and obese Americans who either had mild to moderate osteoarthritis or risk factors for the disease. The study participants were randomly assigned to a control group that lost no weight, a group that lost a little weight, or a group that lost more than 10 percent of their body weight.
Sugar-free drinks can cause measurable damage to teeth
Sugar-free drinks and candy are traditionally believed to pose less of a danger to teeth, but a study conducted in Australia found they can cause tooth decay at levels similar to those made with sugar.
Tooth decay is caused by acids dissolving the hard tissues of teeth, starting with the surface layers of enamel. Bacteria in the mouth consume sugar or carbohydrates, producing the acids — so eating or drinking foods with less sugar in them should reduce acid production.
A new University of Melbourne study compared different types of drinks, both with and without sugar, finding an insignificant difference in the measurable tooth decay they cause.
US obesity rates ‘rising for first time since 2004’
Obesity rates are rising again among American adults, despite national efforts to promote healthy lifestyles.
Rates of obesity had been climbing dramatically since the 1980s but started levelling off in about 2004.
This latest study means they are rising again – to nearly 38% in 2013-14, up from about 32% a decade ago.
The numbers come from a new report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, using a national survey of about 5,000 people.
Moms manipulated into buying unhealthy food, study says
Children are treated to a buffet of television ads for juice drinks, cereals and snacks that feature fun characters and humor. And parents see almost as many commercials for children’s food products, but their ads promote nutrition and family togetherness, according to a new study.
Researchers looked through a database of all the TV advertisements for packaged foods and beverages in the United States between 2013 and 2014. They singled out the products intended for children as those advertised on Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network and other kids’ channels, and then looked for ads for these products that aired on other channels.
